Tana M. Materi, a principal, joined the firm in 1999. Prior to entering the practice of law, Ms. Materi was a finance officer and Captain in the Canadian Air Force. She served as the Squadron Logistics Officer for the Canadian Forces Air Demonstration Team - The Snowbirds, prior to her retirement from the Canadian Forces in 1996.
Ms. Materi practices in the areas of corporate/commercial transactions and mergers and acquisitions. She works with closely-held companies on all their corporate activities, including contract negotiation and drafting, corporate governance and counseling, and all aspects of negotiating and documenting company acquisitions and dispositions.
Ms. Materi also handles the formation of business entities to hold real property and for other business purposes.
Ms. Materi was named a Rising Star by Washington Law & Politics magazine for 2006 and 2007.
